1 capsule daily
The capsules can be simply mixed into the food or given with a treat. The capsules can be given continuously during tick season from March to October. In some regions, year-round administration may be beneficial.
The capsules are generally well-accepted and are readily accepted even by "foodies." Alternatively, the capsule can be opened and the powder mixed into the food.
Note: Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
First, try opening the capsules and mixing them into the food. If your dog can't be tricked, try liver sausage or a hiding place.
It can also be used as an environmental spray for your dog's resting and sleeping areas. This will keep the pests away from the smell and make them less likely to bite than before.
For some, it smells like lemon, for others like lemon balm. If your dog can't stand it and immediately flees, try using it as a room or bedside spray instead.
Apply 1-2 drops daily between the shoulder blades and at the base of the tail as needed.
Use the Ectoprotex tick repellent for dogs all year round for optimal effectiveness.
Shake well before use!
Note: Essential oils may cause skin irritation. Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Shelf life 12 months after opening.
