Devil's claw belongs to the sesame family and originates from southern Africa. When people talk about devil's claw for dogs or cats, but also for humans, they are mainly referring to the root of the plant. It contains valuable nutrients that have a positive effect on the health of mammals. These include unsaturated fatty acids, chloric acid, cinnamic acid and phenylpropanoids. It also contains the glycosides harpagoside and harpagide - the combination of the two glycosides is said to maintain the health of normal joints. Devil's claw can therefore support your pet's natural joint function and agility.
Our devil's claw comes from Namibia and is highly valued there by the local population due to its many properties. African devil's claw is traditionally said to support ligaments, tendons and joints and can therefore support the normal function of the entire musculoskeletal system. All our raw materials, including devil's claw for dogs and cats, are carefully harvested and processed and come directly from nature. With our devil's claw for dogs and cats, you can offer your furry friend high-quality, purely plant-based support.
A study has shown that the administration of devil's claw can support the muscles and therefore helps to keep animals' joints healthy in a natural way. To make the addition of devil's claw as easy as possible for dogs and cats, you can simply add it to the daily cat or dog food.
