Olive wood chew toy for dogs

Chewing is in your dog's blood. With AniForte® olive wood chew bones, you offer your dog a long-lasting, completely natural activity – odorless and leaving no residue.
Olive wood is considered particularly sturdy and hard, and is a popular chew toy for dogs, especially due to its durability and low tendency to splinter. Our chew sticks come from sustainably managed Spanish olive trees and, thanks to their naturalness, are particularly suitable for allergy sufferers or dogs with food intolerances.
AniForte® olive wood chew bones provide species-appropriate exercise, act like a natural toothbrush and can support your dog's dental care.

The wooden chew bone supports stress reduction and relaxation through long-lasting chewing fun – completely without chemicals, additives and calories.

  • The firm consistency has a positive effect on dental health, promotes chewing muscles and can reduce tartar.
  • Also perfect for sensitive animals with allergies or intolerances.
  • 100% natural chewing fun made from Spanish olive wood – ecological and sustainable.

Species-appropriate and natural activity – chew-stable & low-risk

Chewing and gnawing are a completely natural instinct for dogs and are not always related to hunger – they need it for their well-being!

The need to nibble and chew continues throughout a dog's life, beginning early in puppyhood. This is especially noticeable during the teething period – a painful process. Chewing on objects accelerates the eruption of teeth and makes the pain more bearable.
Chewing also stimulates the mind, releasing endorphins (the body's own happiness hormone), which can positively influence mood, hunger, and pain perception. Not only does nibbling bring joy to your four-legged friend, it's also an ideal stress reliever.
The jaw movement challenges the chewing muscles, which in turn can release tension.
This calming effect can be particularly helpful in stressful situations like New Year's Eve or changes in the home environment. It can also help your dog wind down after a stressful day at work or training, or help them cope with boredom and long waiting times.

With AniForte® olive wood chew bones, your four-legged friend can satisfy his innate need to chew in a completely natural way and even makes him happy – no matter what age!

Olive wood for dogs – ecological and sustainable

No tree has to die for AniForte® olive wood chew bones ! Our chewing fun for dogs is a renewable and natural resource, which we source from select olive tree plantations in Spain.

Olive trees are slow-growing trees that can live up to 1,000 years. The wood is highly prized for its warm brown tones and fine, even marbling. It is one of the hardest woods in Europe and is therefore considered durable, very stable, and high-quality.
The cultivated olive trees require regular and careful care to reach their full potential and deliver the expected harvest. To achieve this, the trees are kept smaller, under 4 meters, and with a more gnarled structure. This also facilitates harvesting.

Our olive wood is simply cleaned and sanded by hand. Free of artificial additives, tested for harmful substances, 100% vegan, and calorie-free, it contributes to your dog's species-appropriate activity and dental hygiene. It's also extremely durable and odorless. This means each piece is truly handmade and unique!

OUR TIP! Due to its dense wood structure, olive wood is considered particularly hard and durable, preventing moisture, bacteria, and germs from penetrating the wood. AniForte® Olive Wood Chew Bones are therefore also ideal for outdoor fetch and search games, and also offer a safe alternative to 'fetch and play'!

Soft chew bones, such as beef or buffalo bones, are particularly suitable for young dogs. These are not as hard as other bones and are less likely to damage teeth. Furthermore, the bones should be large enough so that the puppy cannot swallow them whole. It's also important that the bones are free of sharp edges or splinters.

Generally, it is recommended to give dogs a chew bone 2-3 times a week. Too many bones can lead to constipation and weight gain. However, spread out over the week, olive wood chew bones can support teeth cleaning and accommodate your dog's chewing behavior.

Good chew bones for dogs include beef bones, buffalo bones, lamb bones, cheese bones , and chew bones made from hardwood such as olive wood. They should be non-toxic, low in fat, and free of splinters. Cooked bones should be avoided, as they can break and develop sharp edges.

No, dogs should not eat the bones whole. Bones are for chewing and gnawing only, not for eating. Once the bone has been gnawed down to pieces about 5 cm long, it should be discarded to avoid blockage or injury.

You can keep a paw on that!
