AniForte® Ear Mite Oil is used to treat ear mites and the associated itching. This remedy for ear mites in dogs and cats is a multi-purified and odorless paraffin oil. Our ear mite oil is easy to apply thanks to the practical dropper cap – without stressing your pet.
Ear mites are persistent, and treatment can sometimes take weeks or even months. Ear mites primarily nest in the external ear canal and the inner ear. Infestation is recognizable by frequent and severe itching. Animals also frequently shake their heads and may scratch themselves until they bleed. The infestation causes large amounts of reddish-brown to black ear coating. If an ear mite infestation is not detected early, secondary bacterial infections can quickly develop. Ear mite oil for cats and dogs can provide early relief.
Ear mites are particularly susceptible to infection in young dogs and cats. The mites are primarily transmitted from animal to animal, but can also be passed from infected objects to the animal. Therefore, everyday objects such as food bowls should be cleaned and disinfected regularly. In rare cases, a zoonotic infection, i.e., transmission to humans, can occur. Although humans are not the preferred host for the mites, they can be used as intermediate hosts. Such an infestation can trigger unpleasant skin diseases, particularly in immunocompromised individuals. Therefore, it is in your own interest to treat a mite infestation in your four-legged friend as quickly as possible. AniForte ® ear mite oil is ideal for this!

Paraffin oil (Paraffinum liquidum)

Small dogs: 2 - 3 drops per ear
Large dogs: up to 5 drops per ear
Cats: 2 - 3 drops per ear
Rodents: 1 - 2 drops per ear
Drip the ear mite oil into the ear with the practical dropper and massage lightly.
Before application and 12 hours after application with our ear mite remedy for cats, dogs & co, the ears should ideally be cleaned with AniForte® VET Ear Cleaner. The process can then be repeated as often as desired.
For further support, we recommend spraying AniForte® Mite-STOP Spray into the coat. As a precautionary measure and to clean the human environment of mites, AniForte® Pest-EX Spray can be used.
