Black cumin (Nigella sativa) has been used in the Orient for more than 2,000 years as a pepper-like spice to support various bodily functions. Black cumin originally comes from West Asia, Iraq and Turkey. Nowadays it can also be found in southern Europe, India and North Africa.
The original Egyptian origin also stands for a high quality standard. The 100 % natural black cumin seeds are free from synthetic additives of any kind and are highly accepted by horses.
